Pastor Steve Molsee

RCC is pastored by Steve Molsee, an area missionary with InFaith.  Steve grew up in Carson, Washington, a small logging community in the Columbia River Gorge.  He was raised on a small farm and after graduating from high school worked a variety of jobs in the timber industry.  He was self-employed as a shoe-repairman/leather fabricator, and married his wife Barbara in 1982.  They resided in Astoria, Oregon where Steve ran the repair business, and together he and Barbara had three boys.  During this time he began working on a Biblical Theology degree from Trinity Bible College & Seminary, in Newburgh, Indiana.

In 1994 Steve and his wife Barbara were accepted as missionary candidates with American Missionary Fellowship, which later changed its name to InFaith.  In 1996 Steve, Barb and their three boys moved from Astoria, Oregon to Teton, Idaho to begin service with AMF.  Steve was involved immediately in Bible Camp ministry, serving on the Board of Directors of Palisades Bible Camp, and serving as a youth leader.  This ministry became Old Faithful Christian Ranch in 1997 and Steve has been involved in building the facility in Island Park and serving in many capacities since its inception.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Board.  Steve organized and led a number of Kid’s Clubs in SE Idaho, teaching after school Bible classes and engaging young people in a number of activities and in various towns, from Shelley to Ashton.  During this time Steve provided pulpit supply for a number of area churches on occasion, Roberts being among them.  In 2007 Steve was asked to serve as interim pastor, at Roberts Community Church and later that year accepted the position of full time pastor.  Steve is a confessing work-aholic, enjoys motorcycles, anything with an insane amount of horse-power and virtually anything that involves being outdoors.

Steve and Barb have been married 35 wonderful years and they love making each other happy.  His passion is sharing from the Bible how people can have a relationship with God and know that they have true life.  Steve has been musically inclined from a very young age, plays guitar and leads worship.
